Parking Sagrada Familia offers you comfort to visit Barcelona

Sagrada Familia is one of the most spectacular basilicas in the world, with millions and millions of tourist visits per year.

Sagrada Familia start date

First stone was put on March 19, 1882. It will take 144 years to finish Sagrada Familia, as construction is planned to end up in 2026 matching the 100th anniversary of Gaudí’s death .

Data

One of the hallmarks of the Sagrada Familia is the number of towers that will be finally built, with a total of 18. The tower of Jesus will be the tallest, with a total of 170 meters. Its curious profile is undoubtedly due to the number of pinnacles that are being built. The land chosen for the construction of this basilica was originally a wasteland outside the urban area, however the city has expanded in this direction, so that in the end the church has been integrated into the new urban area.
